The framework
ikigAI is what sits underneath everything here — the eleven corporate programmes and the one-to-one coaching alike. Five phases, always in the same order, because each one only works once the one before it is done.
Clear the land. Lay the foundation. Frame the walls. Wire the electricity. Move in. Nobody wires a house before it has walls, and nobody sensible starts building before they have cleared what was already on the plot.
Most organisations and most people trying to use AI well are attempting to wire a house that has no walls. The tools work. The sequence is wrong.
The five phases
The names are the same whether it is one person or a whole company. What changes is what the work looks like.
Self-assessment · two minutes, no email
Tick every statement that is true of your organisation today. Be honest rather than generous — the first one you cannot tick is where the work is.
Clearing the noise before anything else can land.
Nothing new lands on a full plate. Before direction, before tooling, something has to come off.
Start here: the Primer Direction Before Speed, or the Intensive What Your Organisation Should Stop Doing.
Finding where the effort actually goes.
You cannot hand over work you have never looked at. Most people decide what to automate based on how the job looked two years ago.
Start here: the Primer Where the Week Actually Goes, or the Intensive Coaching as a Management Skill.
Setting a direction worth committing to.
Speed without direction just arrives at the wrong place sooner. This is the phase AI has made more important, not less.
Start here: the Primer Thinking Straight, or the Intensive Risk Decisions Under Uncertainty.
Bringing AI in — deliberately, and only where it belongs.
The decision is not whether to use AI. It is which specific pieces of work, on what evidence, with whose name against the output.
Start here: the Primer Deciding What to Hand to the Machine, or the Intensive Deciding Where AI Belongs.
Making it stick in a normal week.
A decision that depends on one person remembering it is not a decision. It is a habit, and habits do not survive a busy quarter.
Start here: the Intensive AI Governance and Data Protection in Practice. This phase has no short course — there is no useful two-hour version of it.
All five ticked honestly is rare. If that is genuinely true, you do not need a programme. You need someone to test whether it still holds.
Start a conversation and I will test it with you.
Work down the list. The first statement you cannot tick names your phase.

For individuals
ikigAI began as a framework for individuals — finding a direction worth having in an environment where AI has made being fast worthless as an advantage. That work, written for a person rather than an organisation, lives on its own site.
